That a sailing vacation is ultimate enjoyment, you may have already known. But that it is also optimal relaxation? You already knew that. But that it can be even more relaxing than that? Did you already know that? With a hostess and skipper on board, you will be completely unburdened and the vacation will be even better.
Having a (small) crew on board makes all the difference so you can get the most out of your vacation. It may feel like a luxury; a private skipper and hostess (or one of the two), and it certainly is, but one that is possible for everyone ๐. Our skippers and hostesses are Dutch, young and eager to take your vacation to the next level!
With a hostess on board, you can be sure that you will lack for nothing. Although in the evening you often pop out onto the terrace to eat at one of the many delicious restaurants, it is very nice to have someone on board to provide you with snacks and drinks for the rest of the day.
While you are still enjoying your morning swim, the hostess will make sure that a nice breakfast is served. And if you are anchored in a bay in the afternoon, you can enjoy a snorkeling trip first and then sit down at a laid table… That doesn’t sound wrong, does it?
A snack in between, a cup of coffee on the foredeck, a barbecue on the afterdeck… The hostess knows how to perfectly plan these little moments of luxury and organize them according to your wishes. You don’t have to think about shopping or doing the dishes; the hostess will gladly take these daily tasks off your hands!
For optimal relaxation, it is sometimes nice not to be responsible for anything and to have the helm completely out of your hands. Just to read a book, enjoy the view, spot dolphins or hang out in the water behind the boat while a skipper makes sure the boat stays on course.
No responsibilities, schedules or worries about places where docking can be a little more exciting. The skipper will make sure everything goes safely and smoothly, guide you through the most beautiful routes and take the work off your hands when you want to relax completely.
But the skipper is also always ready to help if you want to learn something from him or her. Itโs the perfect way to discover sailing in a relaxed setting or learn some fun ins and outs of the craft. Even if you donโt have a boating license yet, this is a great way to see if you might want to take the helm yourself next time ๐.
The crew sleeps aboard the boats they provide or on a companion boat that travels with the fleet – you decide which you prefer!
And of course, you can also choose just one of the two if youโre already a sailor or a master chef๐.
