Sample route Corfu flotilla 1 week

Gouvia Marina – Agni (7 nautical miles)

We start the week with a short distance to calm down and have plenty of time to get started. Near the harbor is a beautiful bay called Kommeno Bay, where we immediately take the first dip in the clear Greek water. At Agni we moor on the pier of restaurant Nikolas, where we enjoy a delicious meal in the evening.

Agni – Mourtos Sivota (25 nautical miles)

Time to go for a nice bit of sailing! From Agni we sail south, towards the Greek mainland. The perfect lunch spot in the afternoon is at BBQ Bay. A beautiful bay with endless options for water sports. A ride on the jet ski, parasailing, water skiing, on a banana behind the boat – it’s all possible. At the end of the afternoon we sail to the final station for today: one of the many bays around Mourtos Sivota. This area is known for its good shelter and its incredibly beautiful bays with crystal clear water and that is not a lie.

Corfu flotilla 1 week (continued)

Mourtos Sivota – Parga (12 nautical miles) On day three we sail further south to Parga.
Here, if there is enough space, you can “moor” on the beach – characteristic of sailing in this area.
The water cab then passes by here to pick you up and take you to town.
A special experience.
Parga is a bustling village with many nice stores and restaurants. Parga – Paxos (18 nautical miles) After two days on the mainland, we will now cross over to the island of Paxos.
We have lunch in the bay of Antipaxos, take a look at the port of Gaios and then sail on to the northernmost point of Paxos: Lakka.
This is a huge bay with many boats, but where you can always find a spot.
Upon entering this bay, it almost seems like sailing into a large swimming pool, so clear and blue is the water.
In the evening, we sail in the dinghy to one of the restaurants with a beautiful view of the bay.

Paxos – Corfu Town (28 NM) For a change we now sail to a real town.
The harbor here is near the old fort and this is definitely a must to climb for beautiful views of the city and the sea.
Corfu Town is fairly large so there is something for everyone to do.
Shopping, visiting terraces, taking a nice walk, or just relaxing on the boat of course. Corfu Town – Gouvia Marina (5 nautical miles) Before we sail back to our home port, we make a stop at the islet of Vido, just off the coast of Corfu Town.
A last swim in the lovely water and then a nice bit of sailing until we return to the starting point of the sailing vacation.
What a nice week this was….
