The Dodecanese, also occasionally called with the ‘k’ the Dodecanese, is an archipelago of 12 large and more than 150 smaller islands in the Aegean Sea, off the coast of Turkey. This archipelago is a popular destination for sailors, due to its beautiful nature, clear waters and endless sailing opportunities. In addition, the area is especially popular in the post-season, as the weather stays nice for a long time. We even sail with flotillas during and after the autumn holidays (late October, early November), when the weather is almost always lovely!
